Grounded Sounds Founder and House DJ Magdi zones in on feel good tech house grooves, bouncy basslines and iconic edits.
Growing up in the quiet south - east of England, his environment pushed him to pursue spaces that allowed new forms of expression. Following a first trip to the lively island of Ibiza at 18 years old, it was clear to Magdi that House Music was more than a genre of choice and a sound that he would be paired with for life.
Driven by passion for the music, he has helped create a thriving local scene, as well as stepping into The UK's capital city & overseas on multiple occasions, establishing himself as a respected and well known face in a thriving DJ scene.
Magdi is a true people person & the life of the party.
This is naturally reflected in his sets, as he reads and connects with the crowd, keeping any audience on their toes.
Magdi’s style is all things house, while anything goes; his go - to genres are Tech, Minimal, Peak Time and Funky House. He always seeks out unreleased tracks, edits and hidden gems.

‘One of the first 12” singles Iever bought was “The Adventures of Grandmaster Flash on the Wheels of Steel”. Never did I ever imagine I would one day share the decks with him...’Trademark (aka Synchronome), has had a career spanning over 30years which has taken him all over the world in support of some of the biggest DJ’s of his generation. With a vast music collection, he has always taken his plethora of musical influences and applied them to his DJ sets. Having been established from the early days of the rave scene we shouldn’t pigeonhole Trademark into just a Drum & Bass DJ. Far from it!Markrecounts... ‘I have played alongside some of the greatest and most influential producers and DJ’swithin the Electronic music scene. I love playinggreat music, and I will always try and take people onto that special journey with one of my sets. I played before Carl Cox at Bug Jam 36 (2023), and for my last tune dropped Bicep’s ‘Glue’, the Need For Mirrors bootleg. The crowd erupted. One of my favourite DJ’ing memories’. Having performed at some of the biggest early 90’s raves (World Party), under Synchronome, he was also co-writer to the rave classic “Made In Two Minutes”, and went onto release “Turn Up The Strobe”, before heading to the bright lights of Hollywood armed with a record boxfull of the latest white labels and dubs from the emerging London Jungle scene. Today heis regarded as one of the original founding DJ’s of the Los Angeles Jungle / Drum & Bass scene. This legacy still continuesright through totoday,where he is regularlyinvited to DJ atsome of biggest clubs (Respect), and festivals (EDC & Nocturnal Wonderland), within the United States. Upon his return from L.A. and with a new DJ name Trademark,he then went on to DJ atsome of the most legendary Drum & Bass clubs in London(Bar Rhumba, Herbal....)Trademark has also graced the turntables at festivals all over the U.K.He has supported and performed with artists such as Daft Punk, Joey Beltram, Carl Cox, Plump DJ’s, Krafty Kuts, Doc Martin, Steve Loria, Fabio, Roni Size, Krust, DJ Die, Randall, Kenny Ken, Jumping Jack Frost, Bryan Gee, Altern-8, 2 Bad Mice, Shades of Rhythm, Ratpack and many more. What’s interesting to know is that Mark has achieved all this with an imperfectionto his left ear. His passion to play music and to entertain has helped him overcome this.Marksays...‘It’s never been about fame and fortune, but for the love of Music, I only want to entertainand make people dance’.

Old Skool Family Rave
MC Elmo & DJ Stevo
DJ Stevo got into the scene in the early 90's, brought decks, started collecting records and was soon raving at Oscars, Dreamscape, United Dance, Mindwarp and more.
Stevo has been playing at events for over 20 years and in 2013 started promoting his own long running night High Energy / Regenerate in Ipswich which proved popular and had many legends play over the years.
Vinyl mixing is preferred although Stevo enjoys all formats and specialises in Old Skool, Hardcore, Jungle and Drum and Bass.
Gigs include East Anglian events Banger After Banger, Wax On Wax Off, Top Banana, Maui Waui Festival, Universal Drumz, Mindwarp and Warning.

Glenn Burgess
First getting into the house and disco scene in the mid 90’s Glenn honed his musical knowledge at seminal UK clubs such as Back to Basics, Hard Times, Wobble, The End and Plastic People. Regular trips to Ibiza during this period only served to fuel his love of the scene and broaden his education.
Frustrated by the lack of a decent music scene in rural Cambridgeshire Glenn started DJ-ing and hosting his own parties in the late 90’s and hasn’t looked back since.
Having previously shared decks with the likes of Joey Negro, Norman Jay and Groove Assassin, this year sees Glenn playing a variety of festivals and clubs across the UK.
Expect a range of all things Disco, Nu-Disco and Soulful House.
