SITE RULES

  • NO GLASS bottles of drink allowed on site please – Livestock will be back on the land after the show.
  • No Open Fires allowed – Enclosed fire pits off the ground are allowed when used sensibly.
  • BBQ’s are allowed but please keep them off the ground.
  • No sky lanterns or Fireworks are permitted.
  • No independent sound systems allowed.
  • Please respect the campsite and Haughley Parks facilities.
  • 10pm noise curfew in Quieter camping areas.
  • 11.30pm noise curfew in all other camping areas.
  • STRICTLY NO VEHICLE MOVEMENT ONSITE – Unless moving to main arena or exiting site.
  • Well Behaved dogs welcome on leads at all times please.

 

  • Alcohol Policy - We wish visitors to the show to enjoy themselves but not drink excessive amounts of alcohol to the detriment of enjoyment for others, therefore visitors will be asked to consider this when bringing alcohol with them. Should visitors be found with excessive personal amounts they will be challenged on this principle.
     

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

  • How do I add Thursday to my existing order? – If you have tickets for 2 nights (Friday arrival) You can exchange unused wristbands on the gate and pay to upgrade to Thursday arrival.
  • Are dogs allowed? – YES well behaved dogs are, but please keep them on a lead at all times and scoop the poop.
  • Can I camp with a day ticket? NO - You need to purchase 3 night or 2 night tickets and an accompanying camping plot pass in order to camp. You can upgrade from a day ticket to a camping ticket with a camping plot by going to Event Control and paying to upgrade.
  • Does the weekend ticket allow you to camp for the weekend? YES - With an accompanying camping plot pass.
  • When is the closing date for pre-booking camping tickets?– 31st May / 23rd May for booking a Bell Tent direct with Norfolk Bells.
  • Can I order camping tickets after the advance booking closing date?– Sorry No. But tickets will be available on the gate on a first come first serve basis, unless we have sold out in advance.
  • Can I buy advance day visitor tickets?– YES, We are offering cheaper day tickets in advance online.
  • Can I buy tickets for Quieter camping on the gate? – Yes, on a first come first serve basis, unless we have sold out in advance. The venue allows us the use of a seperate area for Quieter Camping.
  • Can I buy tickets for Club camping on the gate? – Sorry No, Club camping tickets are only available by booking in advance. This allows us to allocate the correct amount of space to each club.
  • I don’t own a VW can I still attend?– Yes, we welcome all VW admirers even if you don’t own one (yet)!
  • What time can I get into the show?
    On Thursday the gates open to campers only at 12 midday
    On Friday the gates open to campers & day visitors at 9am
    On Saturday & Sunday the gates open to day visitors at 9am.
  • What time do I have to leave site? – If you are a day visitor you will need to leave the show no later than 11.30pm on Friday & Saturday and the show closes at 5pm on Sunday. We do not allow camping overnight on the Sunday.
  • When will I receive my advance purchased tickets? – You will have received your tickets upon completing your purchase by email or text. These are scanned on entry and you eill be given your wristbands and plot passes.
  • I have bought tickets in advance but need to purchase another for someone camping on the same plot as me, can I do this on the gate? - Yes, You can purchase further tickets on the gate for those camping on your plot.
  • I missed the advance booking deadline, will I still be able to get in on the gate? – Unless we are advertising that all camping tickets are sold out then yes. 
  • I cant find my tickets. You will have purchased tickets via our site and have them on a text or Email. 
  • Can I get a refund if I can’t make it? – Sorry tickets are non-refundable.
  • What if bad weather is forecast? – If bad weather is forecast then please pack accordingly. The team work hard to put together the show and a bit of rain (or wind) wont stop us!! We will be updating Facebook and Twitter during the show so please check these sites for information.
  • Do I have to wear my wristband? – Yes this shows you have paid to attend. If you are seen not wearing a wristband you will be challenged. You can wear your wristband on your ankle if you prefer.
  • What do I do if my wristband breaks or I have put in on too tight or too loose? – You can take your wristband to Event Control to swap for a new wristband. (Please do this immediately)
  • Do I have to register to enter the vehicle displays on Saturday & Sunday? – No, You dont have to. Youcan either pre register to save time on entering the main arena or just drive your VW to the display areas from 9am to enter Free of charge.
